Judge suspended all sports programs for three years due to funding problems stemming from the Great Depression, too few boys and Administrator Fr. J. S. Keefeā€™s desire to put more emphasis on academic and religious training.

The graduates included Lawrence Vaughan, who became a Maryknoll priest for 52 years before passing away in 1994. He was the brother of William Vaughan, who became a monsignor and a pastor at St. Ambrose Parish.
