After graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in history and geography, I kicked off my teaching journey at Blessed Sacrament School, spending seven wonderful years as the 6th- 8th-grade religion and social studies teacher. From there, I spent another eight fantastic years teaching religion, social studies, and electives at St. John the Baptist Middle School. Loving every opportunity to learn and grow, I earned my Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University and received my Utah Administrator license in 2012.

In 2013, I was absolutely delighted to return to Blessed Sacrament School as Principal, serving that wonderful community for 13 amazing years! While I loved my time leading the school, I realized that my real joy comes from working directly with students in the classroom. I couldn't be more excited to join the Judge community and share my passion for learning with everyone!

Over the years, I've seen firsthand how teachers can make such a positive impact on young lives — right alongside parents. My heart-felt message to students and families is simple: follow Jesus in LOVE and SERVICE. For students, that means diving enthusiastically into your learning, spreading Christ-like kindness everywhere you go, and discovering just how rewarding hard work can be.

At home, my life is filled with faith, fun, and family! My wonderful wife Karen and I have been happily married for 37 years, and we're blessed with two great kids, Katie and James, plus an amazing grandson, Jace. When not in school, you can find us skiing, camping, fishing, catching movies, or just enjoying hanging out with friends and family.
