This year, on Wednesday, October 15, we continue our annual tradition of Christ the King Service Day during which all of our students faculty & staff go into the community to spend a day in service together. There is more important background and testimonial information below — along with some terrific photos of the work our students have done! — but the important details for this year’s Christ the King Day are below:

• What: Day of Service, earning 5 hours for “general” service hours!

• When: Wednesday, October 15, from 8:00am - 12:00pm

It's that time of year again—our Students 4 Students Fundraiser is here! We are asking for every student to get involved and help us reach our goal. Every dollar raised will directly support our school and student organizations, which means our whole Judge community benefits! Examples include: technology and tuition assistance for Bulldogs in need, Kairos fees covered so everyone can participate, and supporting the arts and the upcoming productions of Spamalot and Dance Concert and more.

Parent Teacher Conferences, held on Zoom, are September 24-25. Zoom signup links will be sent to parents from the faculty.

Homecoming Dance is Saturday, Sept. 20 at The Yerk gymnasium and on The Beach from 7-10pm. Tickets available for purchase on the school website.

We are so excited to launch the 2025-26 school year next week and have all of our Bulldogs on campus. The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 11 with a special schedule. All new incoming freshmen as well as new transfer students will come at 8am in full uniform for the New Student Orientation. Returning students in grades 10-12 start their day at 11am in uniform for a one-hour technology checklist. School ends at noon for everybody and the entire student body is then invited to join us for a pizza social on The Beach. See the attached first week of school "Bulldog Living" schedule. There will be early dismissals each day, including 1pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and noon on Friday. 

Join us August 22 at halftime of the football game for our annual Bulldog Boogie.

Join us April 24-25 for Judge Memorial’s Day of Giving and make a difference in the lives of our students. For the next 1,921 minutes we are raising funds to strengthen the four pillars that form the foundation of a Judge Memorial education: ACADEMIC, PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL, and SOCIAL.

Please join us on Thursday, April 10th at 6pm in the Learning Commons for the Alumni-Student Art Show. We will be featuring artwork from some of our amazing students. We hope to see you there!

Judge Memorial students will be taking the ACTs on Wednesday, April 23 here at school. To help them prepare for this important exam, we will be offering our “ACT Bootcamp” on the fourth floor Library/Learning Commons on Saturday, April 12. The Bootcamp is scheduled from 9:30am until 1pm.

We know there are many more Black alumni in the Judge and St. Mary’s community who deserve to be recognized and honored, and we are grateful for all who continue to strengthen our Judge community and enrich our lives.

Students 4 Students, which runs throughout the month of October each year, is an opportunity to teach our Bulldogs the importance of giving back to their community. The funds raised will support Judge Academics, Athletics, Activities, Performing Arts, Campus Ministry and more! A gift to Students 4 Students helps ensure all our Bulldogs will continue to take advantage of the opportunities Judge offers.

On Wednesday, October 16, we will again participate in our annual Christ the King Service Day, when we send all of our students and staff into our community to spend a day in service. Last year, we volunteered over 2,500 hours at 34 different locations in the Salt Lake Valley. Students worked in our Catholic elementary schools with younger students on reading, writing and math skills, they did yard work, organization and cleanup at several Catholic parishes, and they helped support organizations that serve people living in poverty, facing homelessness and food insecurity, to name just a few. 

If it’s fall it’s time for the Bulldog Boogie! We are excited to have all K-8 kiddos on campus Friday, October 4 for the popular dance at halftime of the Football Game. This year’s theme is Mamma Mia! and participation, which includes a themed T-shirt, is $40

In order to accommodate Diocesan-wide professional development on Friday afternoons, Judge Memorial has adjusted its school schedule for the 2024-2025 school year. School will be dismissed at noon each Friday and the dismissal time on Wednesdays has changed to 3:30pm.

All Judge Memorial and St. Mary’s of the Wasatch alumni are invited to join us for the 2024 Homecoming Reunion Celebration on September 6-7. Details and RSVP information included here.

Mark your calendars! April 25-26 is Judge Memorial’s Annual Day of Giving. All gifts will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a $100,000 thanks to a challenge grant for a Leadership Scholarship in honor of Gil Cordova and Pat Clark benefitting low-income and minority students at Judge Memorial. Join us for the 13th Annual Judge Memorial & St. Mary’s Alumni and Student Art Show on April 11 as we Celebrate the Arts @ Judge! Come enjoy amazing art, poetry readings and light refreshments.

The Judge Memorial Swim Team defended their state championship titles in 2024. This is the fourth consecutive championship for the Boys and the third straight for the Girls.

Homecoming 2023 will feature an alumni social and football game on Friday, May 15. An alumni heritage luncheon is scheduled in the Judge cafeteria for Saturday, May 16. And an alumni mass at Our Lady of Lourdes is on Sunday, May 17.

The Judge Swim Team won the 3A state championship for 2023. It marked a three-peat for the boys and a back-to-back title for the girls, the 13th in program history. The boys also broke a near-50-year-old state record in the medley relay.

Judge Memorial students will be taking the ACTs on Tuesday, April 18 here at school. To help them prepare for this important exam, we will be offering our “ACT Bootcamp” on the fourth floor Library/Learning Commons on Saturday, March 25. The Bootcamp is scheduled from 9:30am until 1pm.
