Carly Brand joined the Judge community in 2025 as a long-term visual art substitute and transitioned to the role of dedicated ceramics teacher in the Fall of 2026. Carly loves art of all kinds and is an avid illustrator, printmaker, designer, potter, knitter, jewelry-maker, and more. She also dabbles in the performing arts and teaches a theatre class with the Middle School Academy students at Our Lady of Lourdes.
After attending undergraduate school in her home state of West Virginia, Carly followed her love of the outdoors to Maine where she spent two years as a kayak guide outside of Acadia National Park. A search for bigger mountains led her to Utah in 2019 where she became a full-time graphic designer until returning to school for her Master in Teaching in 2024.
