Kendra Graham was born on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and grew up in various states across the US, including Illinois, Maryland, and Ohio. She discovered an interest in computer science through a mandatory technology class in high school, earned a bachelor's in CS from Brigham Young University in Provo, and spent the next several years in Redmond, Washington working as a software engineer at Microsoft. While there, she focused primarily on user interface development and web accessibility.

When Microsoft began to shift its focus to AI, Kendra felt that the company had lost its moral compass and chose to pursue her passion for teaching instead. She moved to Utah and began teaching at Judge Memorial in 2025. She is excited for the chance to empower students with a thorough understanding of technology, and hopes to inspire them to use it well.
