Laura Warner has been working in education since 2015 and is excited to bring her teaching experience to the Judge Memorial family. After becoming fluent in Spanish while living in Spain, she developed a deep love for language instruction and cross-cultural learning. She brings passion, a global perspective, and cultural insight to her role as a Spanish educator. She believes that everyone is capable of acquiring multiple languages through a Comprehensible Input-based approach and hard work.
Her travels to 52 countries have shaped her worldview and teaching philosophy. From standing inside the Great Pyramid of Giza and swimming with sea turtles in Taiwan to summiting a 17,000-ft glaciated volcano in Colombia, Mrs. Warner is always searching for her next adventure. She and her husband hope to retire in South America one day, continuing their journey of service, learning, and discovery.
At home, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her husband, their dog, and two mischievous cats.
