Dr. Rebecca Marvin is a new addition to the science department at Judge Memorial. After years of conducting biochemistry research and mentoring university students, Dr. Marvin realized that she most enjoys helping secondary students develop a fundamental love of science by discovering how to explore, question, and appreciate the world around them. Dr. Marvin teaches honors chemistry and biology, bringing curiosity, hands-on experiments, and plenty of encouragement to the classroom. She aims to help students build confidence, while holding them to rigorous standards and preparing them for higher education.

Outside of school, Dr. Marvin enjoys life with her husband, their two teenage children, and their golden retriever, Kya. She is the assistant coach for the Composite Judge/Highland Junior Devo mountain biking team, and nothing makes her happier than seeing her riders overcome obstacles and climb to ever-higher elevations to reach their personal goals. When not on a bike, her other favorite outdoors activities include hiking, camping, skiing, and gardening.
